I am not sure when I started using this method, but I just did!
When cutting the bottom, if you make the hole too big, then the bean sprouts will run out with the water, so make sure to make it a small cut..

These are the bean sprouts.

Cut the top of the bag open with scissors. Add water, and shake.

Cut a small hole in the bottom corner, and drain off the water.

Then just use the bean sprouts in any recipe you like!
