Ingredients

  1. 1 lbground beef
  2. 1yellow onion (chopped)
  3. 1 cantomato sauce
  4. 1 candiced tomatoes
  5. 1 canbeef broth (or 1.5 cups)
  6. 1 canlight red Kidney beans
  7. 1 canblack beans
  8. 2 tbspcumin
  9. 2.5 tbspchili powder
  10. 1.5 tspsalt
  11. 1/2 tsppepper
  12. 1 cantomato paste
  13. 2 tbspsugar
  14. Olive oil

Cooking Instructions

    In a skillet, sauté chopped onions with a little bit of olive oil. Then add ground beef and cook until brown.

    While beef is browning, add all spices together in a bowl and set aside. When beef is done, add spices and tomato paste, stirring together.

    Then get a deeper pot and add the mixture. Then add, beef broth, diced tomatoes with liquid, tomato sauce, beans (drained) and stir together.

    Bring mixture to a bowl and then turn to low and simmer for 20-25 minutes. Remove and let chili rest for 5-10 minutes.
