This is BEST prepared with a day old ripe plantain, so that it will be firm when fried but I used a fully ripe plantain,it's still ok,it takes longer time to fry compared to the flat cut dodo ,let's go cooking 💃

This is BEST prepared with a day old ripe plantain, so that it will be firm when fried but I used a fully ripe plantain,it's still ok,it takes longer time to fry compared to the flat cut dodo ,let's go cooking 💃
Steps

Rinse plantain

Slide knife on peel lightly from surface to open it

Remove plantain fruit from peel

Now place on a board and cut into equal halves,still cut half of it into 2 with a knife, as seen below

Next,use a spiral vegetable cutter to cut it vertically

Heat up oil, deep try till golden brown or crispy if it's a day old plantain, drain
- 7
Note:if it's for commercial purpose, drizzle lil salt after you drain from heat immediately,toss,set aside,,it must be a day old plantain..if it's a fully ripe one,drain when it's brown,set aside,till it's exhausted
