In large bowl cream butter gradually add in Sugar beat till well blended (note pictures show recipe doubled)

Add to butter sugar mixture
1 cup pumpkin,1 egg, 1 tsp vanilla beat well - 3
In med size bowl sift
2 cups flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp salt - 4
Add contents slowly of the flour bowl to the large bowl of pumpkin sugar mixture. Beat well

Using cookie scoop add to oiled baking pan, bake 375 for 10 to 15 min.

Icing
Cream together butter and brown sugar - 7
Add 1 tsp of vanilla, 1 cup powdered sugar, 5 tsp milk.
Beat well until smooth. Add more milk in 1 tsp increments to thin out icing. Spread over cooled cookies
