When I stayed at my grandmother's, this toast was our standard breakfast served with corn soup. Since she recently passed away, I recalled this dish and made it.

Prepare the boiled egg to your desired degree. Peel the egg and slice it with an egg slicer.

Spread margarine and ketchup on the slice of bread, and place the ham on top.

Arrange the slices of boiled egg, and sprinkle with salt. Sprinkle with the cheese and toast in a toaster oven.

Once the cheese has melted, it's done. Sprinkle on some parsley and black pepper to taste.
