I don't like to waste edible food, so I had all these potato skins and most of the nutrients are in the skin of potatoes. So I cooked them, the granddaughters tore them up.

I don't like to waste edible food, so I had all these potato skins and most of the nutrients are in the skin of potatoes. So I cooked them, the granddaughters tore them up.

Ingredients

  1. 1 quartpotato skins from 48 ounces of yellow potatoes
  2. As neededwater to cover the skins
  3. 1 tablespoonsalt
  4. As neededoil to deep fry in

Cooking Instructions

    Peel the potatoes. Put the skins in a bowl and salt them. Cover them with water. Allow them to soak for 30 minutes. Dry them with paper towels. Heat oil and fry them 7 minutes.

    Remove from fryer and spread them in a bowl. Put them in the freezer till chilled. After they have cooled, put them back into the fryer and fry till crispy.

    When they are crispy move to a paper towels to absorb excessive amounts of oil. Serve immediately, I hope you enjoy!!!
