Amla Achaar/pickle

Take fresh amla clean and steam it,deseed and cut in to pieces.

Keep a pan on low heat,add Fenugreek seeds and mustard seeds till crackle,remove,let it cool,add into mixie jar,make a fine powder.

Soak tamarind in hot water,remove the extract,keep aside.

Keep a kadai,add sesame oil, let it heat,add mustard seeds, curry leaves and,red chilli, saute for a minute add asafoetida,then steamed amla pieces mix well.

Then add turmeric powder,cook for two minutes.

Add red chilli powder, asafoetida powder, tamarind juice and salt, mix well.

Let it cook for five minutes. Amla become soft and absorb all, moisture, start loose oil, switch off the stove.

Let it cool for sometime transfer to the bowl. Super tasty amla pickle is ready.

This tasty and healthy amla pickle can store for few months. Enjoy with curd rice, variety rice and rotis.
