My grandma is my favorite chef,i just can't get enough of eating her palm oil rice and beans, though she don't use gas,she prefer using firewood, and I swear down, the taste remain the same

In a pot,add water and allow to boil

When the water boils, pour the beans (you may add salt or potash to it if the beans is stubborn)

Check if the beans is boiled properly.some people wants their beans to over boiled,it depends on your choice and taste

Sieve out the water(i.e if you are using white beans and normally turns black,but if you are using red beans that's really pupa, then there's no need to sieve out the water)

After draining out the water, rinse the pot and pour the cooked beans in it,add water and place back on fire

Then add salt,your Maggi star and palm oil,wash your rice thoroughly and pour into the pot of beans, stir the mixture to allow them mix together,cover the pot and allow to cook

Keep checking occasionally to know if the water you added has dried up so you can add water

Taste the rice if the salt and other ingredients are OK, if they are not enough you can add more salt or other seasonings

When you observe that the rice and beans are about to done,cut your onions into any shape of your choice and cover, wait for the water to dry up comply
