Steps

Drain kidney beans from can or soak dry beans overnight

Simmer beans in a pan with water until soft (max 1 hr, depending how long they’ve been soaked)

Add a little bit of salt at the end

Chop onion and fry in olive oil together with grated carrots on low heat
- 5
After 20min add coriander, cumin, garlic granules, ginger and garam masala and wait another 2min before taking off heat.

Drain beans if necessary and mash them slightly. Leave some water depending on consistency.

Add onion / carrot mixture to beans, mix well and let it sit for 5min.
