Yaki Udon with Yakiniku Sauce!

Yaki udon is usually seasoned with soy sauce, but this version uses yakiniku sauce for a sweet and savory flavor! It's easy and delicious. The sauce makes seasoning a breeze.
Recipe background:
I received some yakiniku sauce as a sample, but since I don't usually make grilled meat, I wondered what to do with it. I happened to have udon noodles, so I tried making yaki udon for a change—and it turned out super tasty!

Steps

  1. 1

Cut the cabbage and any other ingredients into bite-sized pieces. For this recipe, I added sausage, onion, and carrot.

  2. 2

Heat salad oil in a frying pan and stir-fry the ingredients. Meanwhile, bring a pot of water to a boil and cook the udon noodles, then drain them in a colander.

  3. 3

Once the ingredients are cooked through, add the udon noodles and toss with the yakiniku sauce. Serve topped with bonito flakes.
