Ingredients

Serves 4 servings
  • 1 1/2 lbsbeef
  • 1onion
  • 1 blockgrilled tofu
  • 1 bunchmizuna
  • 1burdock root
  • 1 packshirataki noodles
  • 1leek
  • 5shiitake mushrooms
  • 1large bunch enoki mushrooms
  • 3napa cabbage leaves
  • 4eggs
  • as neededEbara sukiyaki sauce,

Steps

  1. 1

    Add lard to a cast iron pot and coat the pot with oil. Add a little beef and some sauce, then add the onion and simmer. The onion will add sweetness.

  2. 2

    Add ingredients like shirataki noodles that don't absorb flavors easily, then add tofu, vegetables, and mushrooms.
    Add sauce as needed and taste.

  3. 3

    Keep the shirataki noodles and beef apart to prevent the meat from becoming tough.
    Adjust the amount of sauce based on the moisture released from the vegetables.

  4. 4

    Use raw eggs as desired.
