2-1/4 cupSugar
2-1/4 cupWater

Steps

Bring Lima beans to a rolling boil. Let them boil until tender to the touch. While the beans are boiling add water and sugar to another pan. Let the sugar melt into the water. After the beans are done drain and add them to the sugar water. Let it soak over night. Drain the beans.Then serve.
