Ingredients

Serves 1 serving
  • 2 tablespoonspure cocoa powder (e.g., Van Houten Pure Cocoa)
  • 2 tablespoonssugar
  • 3 1/3 tablespoonswater (50 ml)
  • 2/3 cupmilk/soy milk (150 ml)
  • 1 dashvanilla extract (optional)
  • 2 tablespoonshoney (as a substitute for sugar)

Steps

  1. 1

    In a mug, mix water, pure cocoa powder, and sugar. Microwave for 30 seconds.

  2. 2

    Add milk/soy milk to the mixture and microwave for 1 minute and 30 seconds.

  3. 3

    Add vanilla extract to finish and enjoy♪♪

  4. 4

    Optional: Top with whipped cream, marshmallows, or frothy milk for a cappuccino-style twist♪
