Ingredients

Serves 6 chicken tenders
  • 6chicken tenders
  • Salt, to taste
  • About 3 tablespoons potato starch
  • as neededVegetable oil,
  • 1 1/2 tablespoonssoy sauce
  • 1 tablespoonsugar
  • 1 tablespoonmirin
  • 1 teaspoonblended miso
  • 1/2 tablespoonoyster sauce
  • 3thin slices garlic

Steps

    Remove the tendons from the chicken tenders, sprinkle with a little salt, and let them sit for a while. Lightly coat the surface with potato starch.

    Combine and mix the ● ingredients well.

  3. 3

    Add a generous amount of vegetable oil to a frying pan and arrange the potato starch-coated tenders. Grill over high heat until they are nicely browned.

  4. 4

    Once one side is grilled, flip them over, cover with a lid, and reduce to medium heat. When they are nicely browned, turn off the heat.

  5. 5

    Wipe off the oil and residue from the pan with a paper towel, add the mixed ● ingredients and garlic, and turn the heat back on.

  6. 6

    Increase to high heat and simmer the sauce until it thickens (be careful not to let it burn). Cut into bite-sized pieces and serve.

  7. 7

    Great for lunch boxes too.
