Rich and Delicious Teriyaki Chicken Thighs

Steps

Make a few cuts in the thickest part of the chicken thigh to even out the thickness. Season both sides evenly with salt and pepper.

Combine all the sauce ingredients in a bowl and mix well.

Pat the chicken dry with a paper towel. Lightly coat both sides with flour, shaking off any excess.

Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium-low heat. Place the chicken skin-side down and cook until golden brown. Flip and cook the other side until golden brown as well.

If there is excess oil, wipe it out with a paper towel. Cover the skillet and cook on low heat until the chicken is cooked through.

Uncover, pour in the sauce, and cook over medium-low heat, shaking the skillet to coat the chicken and let the sauce thicken and glaze.

Slice the chicken into bite-sized pieces. Plate and serve!
