Sweet and sour pickled turnip Japanese style

This recipe is from my mother. One of my favourite dishes.
Tip 1: You could replace turnip with Japanese radish daikon or Mooli.
Tip 2: If you can find a turnip with leaves, mix some of the leaves with turnip. The leaves have more nutrients than turnip itself.
