Ingredients

  • spareribs or pork loin
  • rice wine
  • salt
  • black pepper
  • star anise
  • cornstarch
  • oil
  • garlic
  • onion
  • red chilis
  • green pepper
  • siling duwag
  • leeks/spring onions

Steps

  1. 1

    Marinate pork in rice wine seasoned with salt, pepper, and star anise

  2. 2

    Drain pork and coat with cornstarch

  3. 3

    Deep fry and set aside

  4. 4

    Saute garlic and red chilis.

  5. 5

    Add staar anise then the rest of the ingredients

  6. 6

    Mix in fried pork and coat with chili mixture
