When I combined classic sandwich ingredients—ham, cheese, boiled egg, and cucumber—it turned into an even more delicious sandwich!
Recipe background:
I had cucumber and a boiled egg on hand, plus a leftover slice of ham and a slice of cheese I wanted to use up. I put everything together, and it turned out to be a big hit!

Slice the cucumber on a diagonal. Cut the boiled egg using an egg slicer or by hand.

Spread margarine on the inside of one slice of bread. Layer with cheese, ham, and boiled egg, then drizzle with mayonnaise.

If there are gaps at the edges without yolk, cut the egg pieces in half to fill them in.

Arrange the cucumber slices on top.

Spread margarine on the inside of the other slice of bread. Add mustard, sweet chili sauce, or other condiments if you like.

Put the sandwich together. To keep it from drying out, wrap it in plastic wrap or place it in a plastic bag. If the sandwich is light, place a weight of about 7 oz (200 grams) on top.

Once the bread and fillings have set together, cut the sandwich.
