Ingredients

Serves 3 servings
  • 1 package(serves 3) yakisoba with powdered sauce
  • 7 oz (200 g)thinly sliced pork belly (cut into 1-inch pieces)
  • 14 oz(400g, about 1/3 head) cabbage (roughly chopped)
  • 2chikuwa (sliced diagonally)
  • 1/2 bunch(about 1.8 oz or 50g) green onions (sliced diagonally)
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons★Japanese dashi granules
  • To taste ★tonkatsu sauce
  • 2 teaspoonsvegetable oil

Steps

    Make yakisoba with powdered sauce and plenty of cabbage.

    Heat oil in a frying pan and stir-fry the pork. Once the color changes, add chikuwa and cabbage. Once everything is coated with oil, add dashi granules and stir-fry.

    When the cabbage becomes tender, add 2 packets of powdered sauce and stir-fry until the sauce is evenly distributed.

    Now the vegetables are well seasoned.

    Add the noodles. Place the vegetables on top of the noodles as much as possible, allowing the noodles to absorb the moisture from the vegetables while loosening them.

    Once the noodles are evenly coated with the sauce color, add the last packet of powdered sauce. Taste, and if it's too mild, add tonkatsu sauce.

    Turn off the heat, add green onions, and mix until they wilt slightly from the residual heat. Done!
