Ingredients

Serves 2 servings

About 20 fava beans
1/3 cupall-purpose flour (about 50 grams)
2 1/2 tablespoonspotato starch (about 20 grams)
1/2 teaspoonsalt (about 2 grams)
1/3 cupcarbonated water (or beer) (about 80 ml)
Mint, to taste
as neededVegetable oil,

Steps

Coat the peeled fava beans with potato starch and flour. After coating, pour chilled carbonated water (or beer) into the flour mixture and mix lightly.

Dip the fava beans in the batter and fry in oil heated to 350°F (180°C).

Once fried, garnish with mint and serve.
