Beware of Overeating! Chicken Stir Fry with Green Onions, Mayonnaise, and Ponzu Sauce Beware of Overeating! Chicken Stir Fry with Green Onions, Mayonnaise, and Ponzu Sauce
When I went on a mayonnaise factory, I learned that when making a "mayonnaise stir fry", it's better to use mayonnaise twice - for stir frying as oil, and to finish to add flavor. I also learned that you should add mayonnaise to the pan before heating it. I thought up this recipe because I wanted to try it out. Mayonnaise didn't add enough flavor for me, so I added ponzu sauce.Brown the chicken properly first and then let it steam. This prevents the flavor from escaping and seals in the juiciness too. By adding mayonnaise twice, first for stir-frying and then for flavor, the richness and fragrance comes alive. If you add more ponzu sauce it's light and refreshing, and if you add more mayonnaise, it becomes richer. For 4 servings. Recipe by Obuusama cookpad.japan -

I like vinegar, so I prefer the combination of soy sauce and vinegar to salt and pepper. The sweetness of onions and the nice flavors of vinegar, and the fragrance of butter and soy sauce are bound to go together. I often make this dish for my lunch, or when I need one more side dish.Stir fry the onions until they get really soft. Adjust the seasoning if the taste is too light depending on the size of onion and its water content. Heat over medium heat as not to burn the butter. Recipe by Osshosan cookpad.japan -

This is very good, not difficult and contains pretty common ingredients. If you love that slight pepper taste of mustard greens, you will like this. Of course you can use other greens, or even baby bok choy if it's your preference. One of the things that make this recipe good, is it is easily changeable. Spinach works good also, my wife likes it that way not being a mustard green fan. Fo Fa -
