Ingredients

  • 1 cupSoy chunks
  • Potato 1 (diced)
  • 1/2 CupGreen Peas
  • Carrot 1 (Julienned)
  • Cumin Seeds 1 teapoon
  • Cloves4-6
  • 2Aniseed
  • to tasteSalt
  • 1 tablespoonGhee or Oil
  • 1 CupRice
  • 3 CupsWater

Steps

  1. 1

    In a pressure cooker, heat ghee, add in the cumin seeds, cloves and aniseed, cook for 10-15 seconds.

  2. 2

    Add in the veggies and soy chunks, saute for 5 minutes.

  3. 3

    Add rice, water and salt, close the lid and pressure cook for 2 whistles.

  4. 4

    Serve with raita
