Salmon Marinated with White Onion

Store-bought marinade can sometimes leave you with leftovers, so I made this using ingredients I had at home.
The origin of this recipe
I wanted to create a larger recipe for my daughter who loves marinated dishes, so this is a note for our family.

Steps
- 1
Peel the onions and slice them thinly (either in circles or half-circles, as you prefer). Soak in water for about 15 minutes to remove the sharpness.
- 2
Slice the cucumber into thin rounds, rub with salt, and once slightly wilted, squeeze out the excess moisture.
- 3
Cut the smoked salmon into bite-sized pieces.
- 4
In a resealable bag like a Ziploc, mix all the ingredients marked with ★.
- 5
Add the drained onions, cucumber, and smoked salmon to the bag with the marinade, seal the bag, and massage the contents. Refrigerate.
- 6
It will be ready to eat in about 20 to 30 minutes.
