Ingredients

Serves 4 servings
  1. 4boneless, skin-on chicken thighs
  2. For the sauce:
  3. 7 tablespoons (100 ml)soy sauce
  4. 1/3 cup (80 ml)vinegar
  5. 2/3 cup (150 ml)sugar

Steps

  1. 1

    Prepare a large skillet that can fit all the chicken pieces in a single layer. Add all the sauce ingredients to the skillet and bring to a boil.

    Place the chicken thighs skin-side down in the skillet. Simmer over medium heat for about 10 minutes. Do not cover with a lid.

    When the bubbles become smaller and the sauce starts to thicken, flip the chicken over and simmer for another 5 minutes.

    Once the chicken is cooked through and the sauce has thickened to a glaze, it's ready to serve.
