Prepare a large skillet that can fit all the chicken pieces in a single layer. Add all the sauce ingredients to the skillet and bring to a boil.

Place the chicken thighs skin-side down in the skillet. Simmer over medium heat for about 10 minutes. Do not cover with a lid.

When the bubbles become smaller and the sauce starts to thicken, flip the chicken over and simmer for another 5 minutes.
