Ingredients

  1. 3 poundsboneless beef round steak, cut into serving size pieces
  2. 2 tbsvegetable oil to medium carrots cut into half inch slices
  3. 2celery ribs, cut into half inch slices
  4. 1-3/4 cupswater
  5. 1-11 ouncecan condensed tomato rice soup undiluted
  6. 1 can- 10 ounces - condemned French onion and shoot soup, undiluted
  7. 1/2 teaspoonpepper
  8. 1bay leaf

    In a large pan, brown beef in all over medium-high heat and drain.

    Place in a 5 quart crockpot

  3. 3

    Transfer to a 5 quart crockpot

    Add the carrots and celery.

    Add carrots and celery, combine the remaining ingredients and pour over the meat and vegetables

    Combine remaining ingredients and pour over the meat and vegetables.

    Cover and cook on low as 6 to 8 hours until meat is tender

    Discard the bay leaf before serving and thicken cooking juices if desired
