Ingredients

  1. 1 teaspoonsalt
  2. 1 teaspoonchilli powder
  3. 1/2 teaspoongarlic powder
  4. 1/4 teaspoononion powder
  5. 1/4 teaspooncelery seed
  6. 1/4 teaspoonpepper
  7. 1fresh beef brisket about 2 1/2 pounds trimmed
  8. Sauce
  9. 1/2 cupketchup
  10. 1/2 cupchilli sauce
  11. 1/4 cuppacked brown sugar
  12. 2 tablespooncider vinegar
  13. 2 tablespoonsWorcestershire sauce
  14. 1/2 teaspoonground mustard

Steps

  1. 1

    Combine 1st 6 ingredients; rub over the brisket.

  2. 2

    Place in the crockpot

  3. 3

    Combine the sauce ingredients in a bowl, and pour half over the brisket set the remaining sauce aside

  4. 4

    Cover and cook on high for to 5 hours or until meat is tender

  5. 5

    Serve with the reserved sauce
