Ingredients

Serves 2 servings
  • 1 cantuna (5 oz)
  • 1/4medium onion
  • 1/4medium carrot
  • 2 ozcabbage
  • 1/4 blockfirm tofu
  • 1egg
  • 1 1/4 cupswater (300 ml)
  • 1heaping tablespoon miso

Steps

    This time, we are using canned tuna.

    Thinly slice the onion. Peel the carrot and cut into half-moon slices about 1/4 inch thick.

  3. 3

    Roughly chop the cabbage. Cut the tofu into cubes about 1/2 inch.

  4. 4

    In a pot, add the oil from the tuna, onion, and carrot. Cook over medium heat until the onion is soft.

  5. 5

    Add the cabbage to the pot and stir-fry until everything is coated with oil, then add water and simmer until the vegetables are tender.

  6. 6

    Add the tofu and tuna, bring to a boil, then dissolve in the miso.

  7. 7

    Beat the egg and pour it in, cover, and once the egg is set, serve in bowls.

  8. 8

    You can also make this with tuna flakes.
