  6. 4 piecescheese-stuffed hanpen (fish cake)
  7. Halfa block of fried tofu (atsuage)
  8. 2asparagus spears
  9. 2king oyster mushrooms (eringi)
  10. 4 sliceskabocha squash
  11. 1onion
  12. 4okra pods
  13. Batter
  14. 2eggs
  15. 1 2/3 cupscake flour (about 200g)
  16. 2/3 cupwater (about 150ml)
  17. as neededPanko breadcrumbs,
  18. Sauce
  19. 3 1/2 tablespoonsWorcestershire sauce (about 50ml)
  20. 1 tablespoondashi soy sauce
  21. 1 tablespoonketchup
  22. 1 tablespoonmirin
  23. 5 dashesTabasco sauce
  24. 10shakes ground black pepper

Steps

    Cut the ingredients into bite-sized pieces and thread them onto skewers or toothpicks.

    Mix the sauce ingredients together.

    Mix the batter ingredients. Place the panko breadcrumbs in a bag and crush them with a rolling pin to make them finer.
