Rice Kibbeh

Today was my first time making kibbeh, and I struggled to learn, haha. In the end, it turned out well, thanks to my mother-in-law. Since it was my first try, it came out pretty good. I hope you like it.
Rice Kibbeh
Today was my first time making kibbeh, and I struggled to learn, haha. In the end, it turned out well, thanks to my mother-in-law. Since it was my first try, it came out pretty good. I hope you like it.
Steps
- 1
Cook the rice in water until the water is absorbed. Add salt, then transfer the rice to a large tray and knead it using a food processor or a cup. The more you knead, the better the texture. I kneaded it by hand.
- 2
Sauté the ground meat, adding a little water—this is important to keep the meat tender. Then add the onion and spices.
- 3
Shape the rice dough into balls, hollow them out, fill with the meat mixture, and seal the tops. Press gently with your palm to form discs.
- 4
Heat oil well until it's hot enough to prevent the kibbeh from falling apart, then fry until golden.
