N a bowl, place potato and peas, using a potato masher, roughly mash.

In a wok, heat oil, add the potato and peas along with garam masala, cumin powder and salt, stir fry for 5 to 7 minutes.filling

3. On one of the bread slice quarter, spread the prepared mixture, cap with another slice. Repeat to make all sandwiches.

4. In a bowl, add gram flour, chili powder, turmeric and salt, pour in enough water to get a batter consistency, mix well to make it lump free.

In another wok, heat oil, dip the sandwiches, one at a time, into the batter and gently slide into the wok, fry until brown and crisp.

Serve with chutney or tomato sauce.
