Ingredients

  • Bread slices 6, cut into quarters
  • Refined oil 3 Cup (48 tbs) (For deep frying)
  • Gramflour 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  • Water 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  • 1 TeaspoonRed chili powder
  • To TasteSalt
  • Turmeric powder 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  • 1Boiled potato
  • Peas 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  • 1 TeaspoonGaram masala
  • 1 TeaspoonCumin powder
  • 2 TablespoonRefined oil

Steps

    N a bowl, place potato and peas, using a potato masher, roughly mash.

  2. 2

    In a wok, heat oil, add the potato and peas along with garam masala, cumin powder and salt, stir fry for 5 to 7 minutes.filling

  3. 3

    3. On one of the bread slice quarter, spread the prepared mixture, cap with another slice. Repeat to make all sandwiches.

    4. In a bowl, add gram flour, chili powder, turmeric and salt, pour in enough water to get a batter consistency, mix well to make it lump free.

  5. 5

    In another wok, heat oil, dip the sandwiches, one at a time, into the batter and gently slide into the wok, fry until brown and crisp.

  6. 6

    Serve with chutney or tomato sauce.
