When the grandkids ask for something sweet and you don't have much time, grandma searches social media and finds an incredibly delicious, easy, and quick recipe—pancakes! I won't let go of this recipe anymore.
Steps
- 1
Add the egg and sunflower oil to a mixing bowl. Whisk together, then add the sugar and mix until combined. Pour in the milk and mix again.
- 2
Gradually sift in the flour and baking powder, mixing a little at a time to avoid lumps. Add the salt, mix, and let the batter rest for 20 minutes.
- 3
After resting, heat the stove and add a small pat of butter to a skillet. Use a paper towel to grease the entire pan.
- 4
Pour a ladleful of batter into the center of the pan, gently spread it out, and cook over medium-low heat for 1 minute per side, until bubbles form. Flip the pancake and cook the other side.
- 5
Continue until all the batter is used. Fill as desired—I left some plain.
- 6
I filled others with strawberry jam and decorated with strawberries.
- 7
A burst of deliciousness!
