Ingredients

20 minutes
3 serves
  • 400 Gramsmixed vegetables... peas,Potato,Carrot and Cauliflower
  • 1large tomato
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tspchilli powder
  • 1/2 tspturmeric powder
  • 1 tbspcoriander powder
  • 1 cupwater
  • 1 tbspoil
  • 1 tspmustard, Cumin seeds and Asafoetida

Steps

20 minutes
  1. 1

    Cut and wash all the vegetables.
    Strain the water.
    Cut the tomato in small pieces..

    Add oil in a pan,add Cumin, mustard seeds and Asafoetida for splutter.
    Then add all the vegetables together with tomato and a cup of water,mix it and cover the pan to cook on medium flame.

    When veggies are 80% done, add chilli coriander and turmeric powder along with the salt.
    Mix slowly so the veggies don't get mashed.
    Cover the pan and cook for the remaining 20%.

  4. 4

    When the Subji gets cooked and gets dry, switch off the gas.
    Transfer into a bowl.
    Serve with Chapati or Rice.
    Enjoy..
