Ingredients

  • Okra
  • 1-1/2 poundsokra
  • 1 teaspoonsalt
  • 1 teaspoonmustard powder divided
  • Brine/Pickling Solution
  • 2 cupswhite distilled vinegar
  • 2 cupswater
  • 1/2 cupsugar

Steps

  1. 1

    Add the brine ingredients to a pot and bring to a boil.

    In a clean sterilized jar add a pound of okra, salt, water, and mustard powder

    Pour the hot brine into the jar and put the lid on. Allow to cool and refrigerate for about 1 week. Serve I hope you enjoy!!!
