Ingredients

4 to 6 pax
  • 1kilo Beef Tenderloin/Sirloin (thinly sliced
  • 4-5meduim size onions (sliced into rings)
  • 1 headgarlic
  • 10-15 pcscalamansi (extract juice)
  • 2 tbspOyster sauce
  • 3-4 tbspSoy sauce (silver swan or filipino soy sauce)
  • 2 tbspBrown Sugar
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2-3 tbspolive oil
  • 1/2sliced butter
  • 1/2 cupwater or more as needed

Steps

  1. 1

    Sear beef until it forms a crust. Do not over-sear. You are not frying.

  2. 2

    Add soy sauce and oyster sauce. Mix well.

  3. 3

    Sautee with garlic.

  4. 4

    Add water.

  5. 5

    Add calamansi. Simmer for 20 to 25 mins, until beef is tender and cooked.

  6. 6

    Add onions. Do not overcook.

  7. 7

    Add brown sugar.

  8. 8

    Add salt and pepper, according to taste.
