Ingredients

4 - 5 servings
  • A. 🧀
  • 230 gcream cheese (soft, room temperature)
  • 1/4 cupcreamy mayonnaise
  • 1/3 cupsour cream
  • B. 🧀🍋🌶🧂
  • 1 1/2 cupsshredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 TBSPSweet Chili Sauce
  • 1 TBSPLime Juice
  • 1 TBSPLight Soy Sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoonsalt to taste
  • 1/4 teaspoonblack pepper
  • C. 🦀
  • 340 gCanned Crab Meat
  • The. 🧀
  • 1/2 cupshredded cheddar cheese
  • VARIATIONS :
  • 1. Add garlic powder or freshly minced garlic
  • 2. Add your preferred fresh herbs - spring onion or scallions, chives
  • 3. Add caramelized chopped brown onion. Add texture and sweetness to your dip
  • 4. Add a tsp or half tsp of sugar
  • 5. Evenly spread a thin layer (1-2 tbsp) of Sweet Thai chili sauce on top of your freshly baked dip
  • 6. Garnish with some chopped spring onion or scallions

    Note: Use & add ingredients in the exact order listed in the recipe (A, B & C).

    Prep & measure all ingredients. Drain & discard water from canned crab meat. Remember to remove and squeeze excess liquid. Keep aside.

    In a mixing bowl, combine and whisk cream cheese, mayonnaise and sour cream until smooth and creamy.

    Note: For a smoother, lump free texture, leave cream cheese to soften before using or whisking.

    B. Add the rest of the ingredients listed in B. Mix until well combined.

    C.

    Using spoon or anything similar, fold in crab meat until everything is well mixed. Transfer to a shallow baking dish.

    The.

    Finally, add 1/2 cup of shredded cheddar cheese and spread it evenly on top of the crab dip.

    Bake in a preheated 200°C oven for 20-25 mins. Serve with wonton crackers (or any types of crackers), crisps, chips, cut veggies etc.
