Ingredients

10 slices
  • halfcauliflower
  • 250 gcheddar type cheese
  • dried spices such as oregano,basil,cumin etc
  • black pepper and salt
  • 4eggs
  • 3 tablespoonsolive oil
  • Handfulblack olives cut in small pieces

Steps

  1. 1

    First shred the cauliflower on the tool used for shredding cheese, then do the same to cheese

  2. 2

    Mix the cauliflower with the eggs and cheese and spices, add the black pitted olives, cut into small pieces.

  3. 3

    Put the mixture in a 1,5 cm wide circular shape on parchment paper and we put it in a pan.

  4. 4

    Put the olive oil on top and we bake it in the over till the top gets brown,approx 15-20 minutes on 200 degrees celsius

  5. 5

    Serve it with homemade ajvar

  6. 6

When i imagine a dish, first i cook it in my head and i try to imagine how it will taste like. if the ingredients will be in harmony, how can i make it technically and what side dishes would match well. what i have learnt from south-east asian cuisines is, that fresh ingredients are unbeatable. in nutrition, taste, look and color, crispiness and moistness. my recent goal is to use as many fresh herbs and veggies as possible. there are only a few dishes that i dont like, few type of seafood and seaweed. any other ingredient is on my horizon if i plan to create something new,cooking is my art.
