Steps

Dry roast toor dal, urad dal, pepper corn, methi seeds, coriander seeds, sesame seeds,curry leaves and chilli till golden brown on low to medium flame.

Roast tamarind for few minutes till slightly hard off the flame and cool it.

Now grind the dal mixture then add tamarind and salt grind again to fine powder.

For preparation, heat oil add mustard seeds and hing add prepared powder and fry for a while then add water and cook till thickens,adjust salt.

Milagu kolumbo is ready to serve with rice papad and pickle.
