Oven roasted Jackfruit seeds are absolutely a no hassle version.
Some spices also can be used but for me it's more than enough. Salted and roasted Jackfruit Seeds are the best. But yes sometimes I do use some Chat Masala too. That's it. As simple as that. This time I have used Sun dried Kasuri Methi which was done at home sweet home for a change.
Jackfruit Season is a perfect one to enjoy a number of goodies from this one amazing Fruit.
It's a healthy boon to us by nature. This is my family's favourite Fruit and so it's basically enjoyed a lot in my home. Juicy, tender and sweeter, this is pure love. Also keep checking it while roasting as it nears the selected time, so that they doesn't get overly done. Otherwise they might become too crisp. And let me share with you all one more important thing which is that if you want Jackfruit Seed flour, then you can roast them until crisper and then grind to a fine flour that can be used for making many a recipes. Isn't it awesome? Do try it out and leave me a feedback if possible. Iam sure you will just be as contended as me after trying these in the oven. It's way too flavourful and aromatic. Perfectly crisp and flakey.

Steps
- 1
Preheat oven on a desired temperature settings according to your oven because every oven has their own special settings. I did it on 200° and have set the timing to 40 minutes. So after almost 5-6 minutes of preheating, start the roasting.
- 2
As it's preheating, mix salt, chat masala, kasuri methi, olive oil and the seeds. Now spread them out on a parchment paper lined baking tray. After preheating done, place the tray in the oven.
- 3
Roast for a good 30-35 minutes or until it's aromatic and done. You can check for it. Also it's important to check once or twice in between just to ensure that they are not overly done. That's it.
- 4
Enjoy them as a snack on any given day. It's absolutely delicious and healthy too. Don't forget to top with some more of kasuri methi. Yum!
