Lassi or Indian Shake is so very synonymous to Indian Subcontinent. And more precisely to the State of Punjab where it first originated.
Not only did it make a special place in people's heart, it has been loved by every Indian from Kashmir to Kanyakumari. People have made umpteen variations and twists in this super delicious Indian Shake to date.

This is one such Fruity variation by me using the seasonal Fruit Peach this time. Not only it gets done easily but also is a quicker one. It's luscious and creamy. Awesomeness in a glass. It is sheer bliss. Peaches are available aplenty throughout the Country now and there is no other appropriate time to whip up this beautiful looking dish.
Add some strands of Saffron to the blender jar directly and get ready to love it's wonderful golden hue.

Enjoy No Cooking with Zeen!

Creamy and luscious glass of fruity lassi is ready in no time at all. My peaches were very sweet, so I added less sugar. You can add any sweetner of your choice as well.

  4. 4

Serve it chilled right away. Garnish with a few strands of saffron if desired. Enjoy!

Homemaker by choice and a passionate cook by heart. An aspiring cook who actually never knew anything about Cooking until i became a mother myself. With Motherhood came the responsibilities as well and this was the turning point in my life.I started to learn the ABC's of cooking, taking help from my mother and my MIL. And time just flew. I spread my wings higher and higher. With my love for excellence and innovation, i stepped into a world of homecooks with my exposure to Cookpad one fine day on the social media. And there was no looking back since then and i have not only shared recipes here on this wonderful platform but also have made some lovely friends as well. Today iam successful because of my hard work, dedication and loads of good wishes of my family and my kids in particular.
