Steps

Firstly to make basmati rice..
Wash and soak the rice for 10 minutes.
then boil the water,add salt,oil, cumin seeds and lemon juice in the water.
Add soak rice and cook till the rice is done.
Strain the extra water.
Keep aside.. - 2
Make the Mung Sprouts..
Wash and soak the mung for 4 hours.
Then remove from the water and transfer into cotton cloth.
Tie the cloth and put overtime in the warm place.
Next morning open the cloth
Sprouts are ready.
Boil the water in a pan.
Add sprouts and cook till soft.
Remove in the strainer. - 3
In the meantime cut the onion tomato,chilli and garlic.
Heat the oil in the pan,
Add mustard and cumin seeds to splutter.
Add asafoetida, curry leaves, chopped chillies,garlic,onion and sauté till translucent.
Now add salt, chilli, coriander and turmeric powder along with sugar.
Mix well. - 4
Now add sprouts,tomato, lemon juice and Fresh coriander.
Mix with Masala.
Cook for 2 minutes then switch off the gas. - 5
Serving Time..
Place the Basmati rice in the serving dish.
In the middle put a bowl of sprouted mung.
Garnish with fresh coriander and serve
A yummy lunch dish is ready.
