Sharing my innovative recipe based on Maharashtrian traditional recipe. Speciality of this dish is that it is prepared using very less ingredients, easily available. Ideal for fasting .
Steps

In a big bowl take Waterchestnut flour, add water slowly and knead a soft dough. Allow it to rest for 10 minutes.

Next put the dough in soriya (Chakali maker) use the plate which normally used for medium size bhujiya.

Apply ghee on the plates of idli maker and prepare instant shevaiya,steam in idli maker for 10 to 12 minutes.

Allow it to cool and then remove it.

In the meantime,transfer grated coconut into a mixer jar, grind it and then add water,grind again.

Now transfer it to a strainer and squeeze to get coconut milk.To this coconut milk add jaggery, dryfruits and cardamom powder.

Serve the Waterchestnut instant shevaiya with coconut milk.
