Chole (No onion no garlic)

First of all wash the chickpea and soak for 7 - 8 hours. Put the soaked chickpea in pressure cooker. Add water and salt in it. Cook for 7 - 8 whistles on high flame.

Cut tomatoes add cashew nuts and grind it in to a smooth paste.

In a kadai take ghee and oil as the oil heat up add asafoetida and red chilli powder. Cook it for 5 minutes.

Add greavy and all the spices in it. In another bowl mash some chickpea.

Add boiled and mashed chickpea and tea water. Mix well. Cook for 5 minutes. Serve hot with kulcha or puri
