Coconut Modak
In Ganesh Chaturthi I made Coconut Modak.....
Steps

First grate fresh coconut. Once it is done then keep aside. Heat Kadai fry coconut till the moisture evaporate. Then add jaggery as needed. Fry till the jaggery melted.

Then add Elaichi powder. Mix.it well. Cook till it is gravy. Then switch off the flame. Once it is done then keep aside. In a bowl combine rice, ghee and salt. Mix it well. Pour Lukewarm water as needed and knead a smooth dough. From the dough take a small ball. Make a Katori shape put the coconut stuffing in the center of the Katori and make a modak shape. Once it is done then keep aside. Then switch off the flame.

Steam modak for 15 minutes. After15 minutes check it if it is done. Then switch off the flame. Keep standing time for 1 minutes.

Transfer to a serving plate.Serve...
