Steps

Chop the tomato,onion,chilli garlic and ginger.
Wash and soak the moong Dal for 10 minutes
Keep the Tadka ingredients and spices ready. - 2
Add oil in a pressure cooker.
Add mustard and cumin seeds to splutter.
Add asafoetida.
Now add onion, chilli garlic and ginger, saute till Onion gets translucent.
Then add tomato and saute well till mushy.
After that add all the spices and mix till oil release. - 3
Now add moong Dal,water, Fresh coriander and lemon juice.
Mix well.
When the water starts boiling, close the lid and cook till 3 whistles,then switch off the flame. - 4
Open the pressure cooker after releasing the air.
Yummy moong Dal is ready.
Transfer in the serving bowl.
Sprinkle coriander and serve.
Enjoy.
