Sweet potato masala fry makes a very tasty dish which we can serve with roti, paratha, naan. Sweet Potato Masala Fry is a healthy vegetarian dish that has a good amount of calories, carbohydrates and Vitamin-A. Sweet potatoes are considered healthy even for small children.

First, wash the sweet potato with clean water, peel it, boil it and cut it into medium size pieces.

Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds, cumin seeds and dry red chilies. Then add yellow lentil to it and roast it until it turns light pink in color.

Now add finely chopped green onions and finely chopped garlic. Then green neem leaves, green chilli pieces and tomato pieces are to be added to it.

Add turmeric powder and red chili powder. After that, boiled sweet potato pieces are to be added. Add salt according to taste. Everything has to be mixed properly.

Sweet potato masala fry is ready sprinkled with chopped coriander and served hot.
