Steps

Score chicken from both sides and place in a large bowl.

In a small bowl combine 3 tablespoon oil, 1 tablespoon chilli powder, salt and 1 tablespoon turmeric,

Pour over chicken and marinate for 20 minute.

Heat a pan or skillet with 2 tablespoons oil.

Fry the chicken till golden from both sides. Remove and set aside.

Heat remaining oil and add the onion paste and cook till translucent.

Add ginger-garlic paste and fry 2 minutes.

Add the salt, chilli powder, turmeric and cook 2 minutes.

Add the yogurt and cook 2 minutes.

Add the chicken, whole spices and water and cook covered 15 minutes.

Add the cream and mix well.

Remove the chicken and mix well to cook the sauce.

Spread the sauce over the chicken and serve with cucumber, onion and cilantro.
