Ingredients

Prep half hour, bake 8 min, cool 20 min
4 people, 48 cookies
  • 2 cupsfarm made Hazelnut chocolate spread
    California Farm Chocolate Hazelnut Spread
  • 1 cupHazelnut Butter
    California Farm Peanut Butter and Peanut Oil
  • 1 cupbrown sugar
  • 3 cupsflour
  • 2large fresh farm eggs
  • 2 teaspoonsvanilla
  • 1 teaspoonbaking soda
  • 1 teaspoonbaking powder
  • 1 teaspoonflaked seasalt
  • Equipment: measuring cup, dough mixer, icecream scoop, parchment paper, 4 oven baking trays
  • Cost: hazelnuts $2/pound, cacao $1, sugar 30 cents, flour 60 cents, eggs, other 90 cents, 10 cents per cookie

Steps

Prep half hour, bake 8 min, cool 20 min

    Warm and mix the hazelnut spread and hazelnut butter with the brown sugar. Add the eggs and vanilla. Add the baking powder and soda. Add the flour. And salt. Cream in dough mixer with cake blade till crumbly.

    Use icecream scoop to make 12 cookie balls on parchment paper per baking sheet. Bake eight minutes at 375 F degrees in preheated oven, not longer.

    Take soft cookies out, let them cool and harden on the kitchen counter. Fresh for a week.
