  • 5cucumbers
  • 8lettuce leaves
  • 1/2small green cabbage
  • 1/2small red cabbage
  • 1small bunch fresh mint leaves
  • 1small bunch parsley
  • 5green onions
  • 1bell pepper
  • 2carrots
  • 1pomegranate
  • 3radishes
  • 1 bunchfresh thyme leaves
  • 1 bunchpurslane leaves
  • Dressing ingredients
  • 2 tablespoonspomegranate molasses (about 30 ml)
  • 2 tablespoonsolive oil (about 30 ml)
  • 1 tablespoonsumac (about 8 grams)
  • 1 teaspoonwhite vinegar (about 5 ml)
  • 3 clovesgarlic, minced
  • 2 teaspoonssalt (about 10 grams)
  • 1/2small cup lemon juice (about 1/4 cup or 60 ml)
  • Fried or toasted pita bread

    Wash all the vegetables thoroughly. Roughly chop all the vegetables.

    Mix the dressing ingredients well, then pour over the vegetables.

    Add the fried or toasted pita bread on top of the fattoush.

    Serve the fattoush with kibbeh nayeh or grilled meats. Enjoy!
