Cooksnap for Bina Samir Telivada's Khatta moong recipe.

Steps

Wash, soak and sprout the moong. Boil them in a saucepan in water with some salt and pinch haldi. Keep chilli, and ginger.

Mix sour curd and besan. Mix in water as required.
In ghee add rai, jira and hing. Add in the curd-besan mixture. - 3
Mix and add ginger, chilli and curry leaves. Add in salt and haldi. Mix and bring to boil

Cook well as raw besan is used. Boil for 6-8 minutes. Add in the boiled moong sprouts along with its water.

Mix and cook for 2 more minutes.
Lastly, add coriander and switch off gas. Serve Khatta moong with roti or rice. I have served Khatta moong with thepla, cabbage, and rice.
